Description
Sommarøy is a collection of lower-proof craft spirits named for a Norwegian island where the summer sun never sets. Sommarøy Vodka is made from 100% domestically grown corn, making it naturally gluten-free with a mild sweetness and a buttery mouth-feel that tastes great on its own or mixed into the cocktail of your choice. Using legacy small-batch distilling techniques, Sommarøy Vodka is twice-distilled to ensure a smooth finish and is bottled at our signature 55 proof that keeps the good going.
Tasting Notes
Clean, crisp aromas of lemon peel with a kiss of black pepper are present when filling your glass. At first sip, you are met with an incredibly smooth, rounded mouth-feel with a touch of sweetness that comes from our corn. The end result is a flawless vodka that tastes great on its own or mixed into the cocktail of your choice. Sommarøy Vodka pairs beautifully with the simplicity of soda. Yet, it’s also a great addition to a high-ball mixed with lemonade and garnished with basil, or in a summery Gimlet or Sea Breeze, served on the rocks or straight up.
